TORPEDO-CF is a clinical trial to explore whether treatment with oral or intravenous antibiotics is best for eradication of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Cystic Fibrosis. The majority of the content is aimed at patients and their families, but trial staff can access the randomisation website and other specific information via the ‘Researchers’ link on the left.

This trial is sponsored by the University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, funded by the NIHR Health Technology Assessment Programme and coordinated by the Medicines for Children Research Network Clinical Trials Unit.

Recruitment status:

There have been 117 recruits to-date.

Centres open to recruitment:

There are currently 69 centres open to recruitment including ten adult centres.
